Radiant Heat Installation Training and Support

ClearZone radiant heating system installed for concrete heated driveway.

The key to a well performing radiant heating system is proper installation. While radiant heat systems are not difficult to install, there are some important things to be aware of during the installation of the cable. All the aspects of the installation are covered in Warmzone's valuable online installation training program. (THIS IS A FREE SERVICE.) Installers can login and participate in real-time training to learn how to properly install a radiant snow melting system, roof deicing system or radiant heated floor. Your personal instructor will cover all aspects of proper installation techniques and include a variety of illustrations and photographs. (You also have access to a wide variety of installation videos online. Have all your questions answered and gain the confidence you need to install these systems.

While preparing, laying out and securing the heat cable for a driveway heating system can be done by any contractor or ambitious do-it-yourself homeowner (to reduce labor costs), it is vital that a certified electrician test the cables during the installation and wire the system to the activation device and contactor panel. Cold leads are wired to the system's control panel and then run to the radiant heating cable. The cold leads are spliced to the radiant heating cable that is laid out over the driveway or area to be heated. (The cold leads come pre-spliced.)
